International Fireproof Technology Inc. (IFTI) and Gaco Western announced today that IFTI’s DC315 spray-applied coating passed over GacoGreen 052N .5 pound open cell foam as an Ignition and Thermal Barrier.
Ignition Barrier: Industry leading application rate of 400 sq. ft. gallon. This makes DC 315 the most cost effective ignition barrier option on the market. DC 315 was tested per AC 377 appendix X standards as an ignition barrier.
Thermal Barrier: application rate of 80 sq. ft. per gallon, single coat application. DC315 was tested to the NFPA 286 full corner room burn test.
