HITS Intumescent Sheet
HITS – High Intumescent Sheet is a flexible and ultra thin, expandable graphite based intumescent sheet designed to create a thermal insulation layer to protect the substrate during a fire. The non woven fabric base is combined with proprietary intumescent compounds that, when exposed to heat, will expand to approx.15mm. If HITS is installed in an application that limits the expansion, the resulting high density char will provide a better thermal barrier to further delay ignition.
